Home Build Plans is an independent project-inspiration library for homeowners, DIY learners, and makers who want a clearer way to evaluate possible builds.
What we publish
We publish planning guides for woodworking, home improvement, gardens, garages, small structures, and residential design concepts. Public guides are selected for useful subject-specific context, clear visual references, and practical limitations—not simply for publishing volume.
Editor and site operator
Bei RuiTang manages and edits Home Build Plans. The editorial work includes checking guide titles, images, planning assumptions, safety boundaries, and reader-reported corrections for clarity and subject alignment.
The site provides educational concept references rather than stamped drawings, permit sets, or project-specific professional advice. Public guides are reviewed, corrected, consolidated, or withdrawn when they do not meet that standard. Questions, corrections, image concerns, and business enquiries can be sent through the Contact page.
What our guides are—and are not
Unless a page explicitly provides a measured downloadable drawing, its title or use of the word “plan” describes a planning concept, not a construction-ready plan. Readers must verify dimensions, loads, materials, product instructions, codes, permits, and site conditions with qualified local professionals.
How we maintain quality
We review articles for subject alignment, clarity, practical value, image relevance, and safety context. Pages may be corrected, expanded, consolidated, returned to draft, or removed from public view when they do not meet that standard. Our Editorial Policy explains the process.
